November 8 | Intercultural Agility Workshop

Connect Across Cultures: You are invited to an Intercultural Training Workshop!

What is Self-Culture?

Many people assume that if we’re speaking English, we’re understanding each other. But every person interacts through the invisible filter of their own culture — the values, basic assumptions, nuances, and guiding principles that are built into their understanding of the world.

This cultural lens can completely alter how we see, hear, and understand each other.

Why does it matter?

This workshop will help you better understand your own cultural lens — and how it impacts your interactions — so you can become more effective in your interactions with people from around the world.

Like learning a new language, learning how to navigate cultural differences requires commitment and effort. With some key concepts and a little practice, transformational results are possible.

Where and when is the workshop?

Saturday, November 8, 2025, 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Neighbors Community Center at Hub540

Registration Deadline is October 25

Cost is $32 and incudes a Self-Cultural Assessment
