Giving opportunities

Neighbors Community Center is for those who have lived in Lancaster for many years and also our new neighbors from across the country and around the worldYour gifts help us to provide a welcoming place for connecting, learning, and celebrating.

The needs listed are for actual programs and are representative of the costs of current and upcoming opportunities. Neighbors Community Center reserves the right to use your gift where it is needed most among our programs.

Neighbors Community Center is a program of Eastern Mennonite Missions (EMM), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. You will receive an acknowledgement of your gifts from Eastern Mennonite Missions.

Another way to give

Getting rid of extra clothing, shoes, and household items? Consider donating them to CommunityAid Thrift Store and Donation Center For each pound of donated clothing, shoes, and household items, Neighbors Community Center receives $.13!

Here are two easy ways to unburden your closet or attic:

  1. Drop off your new or gently used items at the cart in our side lobby (450 North Prince Street, Lancaster, Pa.) open during Neighbors Cafe hours (currently Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Friday, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.). No further action is needed.
  2. Drop off items, including furniture and larger items, at the CommunityAid Donation Center, 31 Rohrerstown Road, Lancaster, PA (or any of their other locations, Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.).

Mention code 50354 to give credit to Neighbors Community Center each time you donate. Remember this number. Write it on a post-it. Save it as a note on your phone. Take a screenshot. Get a tattoo (just kidding).

We appreciate your involvement and CommunityAid’s partnership as we are all Neighbors Helping Neighbors!
